I belong to the Strong Tower family in El Salvador C.A. Due to a bad heart condition when I was born I only weighed 10 lbs. at 2 years of age! Most folks (including the medical world) had given up on my little bundle of skin and bones. But my Father God did not give up on me! He inspired a few others to not give up on me as well, and one of these kind folks was Misael Aguilar.

Tourists arriving in Liberia (LIR) for the 2011-2012 vacation seasons will enjoy the new terminal that is under construction and to be ready for November. The new terminal in Liberia will almost double capacity to 1.500 passengers at one time from the current 900 and will have a food court, two boarding areas and a sports bar.

The total cost for the new terminal is $27 million dollars and certainly well spent, as traffic into and out of the Liberia airport has been increasing steadily over the last several years.

On a family trip to Florida when I was nine is when I first got excited about tropical plants. When I was 12, we rebuilt an old greenhouse at home and eventually grew bananas and a pineapple inside. Slide shows from Puerto Rico introduced me to some of my favorite trees. Having had the privilege of helping a retired friend drive to his winter home in Key West for 10 years, continued to fuel my longtime interest in tropical plants.

While I always marvel at Gods power and marvelous creation I have never considered myself to be much of a naturalist or conservationist and I don't know if its cause I am getting older or if it's that I am finally waking up to the amazing nature we are surrounded with here in the foothills of a world International Parque La Amistad. I know that in Feb of 2010 when Pablo Yoder was here for evangelistic meetings he helped spark a flame of interest that continues to burn within me. This park is virtually unexplored as of yet.
